My destiny

My future is preordained. I mean think about it... both my parents are mathematicians. What do you think my life is going to be like? Anyhow, to get me started on mathematics early (and well, daycare issues), Mommy took me to her work a bunch of times during the last few weeks. From what I could ascertain, grade 4-8 teachers gathered together to delve more deeply into the concepts of geometry, probability, fractions, algebraic thinking, number and operation, and ratio and proportion. Mommy taught 1 group of teachers geometry and probability and then 2 other groups fractions and algebraic thinking (1 group of teachers per week).

Here I am checking out the validity of some teachers' responses regarding linear relationships. Everything seemed to check out, although I did notice that one set of teachers represented the information with continuous graphs and the other set of teachers represented the information with discrete graphs. Very interesting. I told Mommy what I noticed, which she then used to hold a group discussion. I guess I'm destined to notice these types of things, huh?

Of course, Riley didn't mention that dashingly handsome instructor that occasionally assisted her Mommy. Whatever became of him?
