Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!
Yay! We got snow! And not just any snow... good packing snow for snowmen! Woo-hoo! I haven't made a snowman in ages and ages (something to do with living in the desert for the past decade) so it was a lot of fun to make one. It was also a lot of fun to see Riley playing in the snow and trying to help us out with the construction (well at least for a little while).

A snowy day in Arizona?!?
So, we left Salem when it was about 20 degrees out with threats of freezing rain and snow to come to warm, sunny Arizona. Little did we expect that not only would it NOT snow in Oregon, but that we would wake up this morning to snow all over the ground! Granted it melted by 11am, but before it did we were able to get some really cute videos and pictures of Riley. What was especially great was that we were able to put the same jacket on Riley that we did last year around this time when Riley got to play in the snow for the first time!

Winter Wonderland
Our first snow has fallen! So, what to do? As I've been living in Tucson for the past 6+ years, I've forgotten what to do in these type of situations. Luckily, after Googling around, I found a handy-dandy checklist of required actions that must take place.
Step 1: Grill steaks with no jacket on while huge snowflakes fall from the sky.

Check.
Step 2: Bundle Riley up the next day to let her play in it, and more importantly, pose for pictures.

Check.
Okay... the first two items on the checklist have been accomplished. Good stuff.
