Statuesque

When we were Skyping with my parents the other day, we stood Riley up to see if she could demonstrate how well she had been standing by herself. Thinking that she would stand for about 15 seconds, which is about the longest she had ever gone, we didn't get the video camera ready. Much to our shock and awe, Riley stood transfixed at the computer monitor, not moving an inch. After about 20 seconds or so, Cam motioned for me to get the camera. As you can see, we got another 25 seconds. That totals her time to about one whole minute! Even more impressive is that on another attempt, she took 1 or 2 steps by herself! :-)



It's funny, but I think standing for that long may have given Riley some confidence. She is constantly standing by herself now, as well as trying to walk. I just know that one day SOON, she's just going to walk right up to me. And I think I'm going to faint.
