Gobble, Gobble!

For Thanksgiving this year, we all went to Vancouver B.C. to visit family. Riley did outstanding on the long car trip (it was about 7 1/2 hours one way). She rarely let out a whimper of frustration for being in the carseat for long chunks of time, instead happily playing with toys and books, eating, and napping.

Below are some still shots from our time at Auntie Barb's house. Thanks so much for hosting Auntie Barb! We had a great time!

On her hands and knees!!! This is a new development. I wish I would have gotten a good video of this, with Riley rocking back and forth. Any day now!

I just realized - the only other girl named Riley I've ever heard of is John Connor's girlfriend in "The Sarah Connor Chronicles". And the timing works out about right so that she would have been born this year. Hmm.... Maybe you should keep an eye out for any T-888's. I'd offer my services for protection, but, well, I'm an enormous whimp.
